I know it is mean but did those dumb dogs really think they would be allowed into the polo event, they would chase every ball and just cause chaos! As we all know Lily never returns with the ball, even if she has been going to those puppy training classes.
At this moment they are in the garden sulking as they over heard Phil mention that is a human only trip.
They will just have to hang out with me here at Flamborough Rigg Cottage, Stape.
On Sunday 28th June 2009 the White Rose Polo Club is holding its second annual Castle Howard tournament at Castle Howard’s fantastic grounds. 4 teams will be battling it out for glory – to win the prestigious Castle Howard Cup. This day will be a fantastic family day out with something for everyone, well except dogs (heh heh)!
Visitors to Castle Howard will be able to watch local sides battle it out against White Rose Polo Club in the inaugural Castle Howard Cup, as well as seeing polo demonstrations and a parade of ponies, and having a go themselves on ‘Woody’ the wooden horse.
Anyone who pays the normal admission fee to the gardens, as well as Annual Pass Holders, will be able to enjoy the polo day for an extra charge of £5.00 per person. Visitors are encouraged to take along a picnic and relax in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Howard whilst watching a few chukkas.
